So I apparently bought the Game of the Year edition of oblivion so I have the expansions for it. I decided to try the Shivering Isles one first so heres the take on it. First off it's a lot shorter. You get a message that a door has opened, of course your supposed to check it out. You step into this ridicously twisted world, nothing is where it should be and I think there was some Resident Evil stuffed into some parts. THIS expansion is scary. You always have an ominous feeling that something is going to jump out of no where, and geuss what? There is! Lol. Well theres a lot of really cool looking weapons and armor in Shivering Isles, even if half of them are made from human body parts. There are two different worlds in Shivering Isles, Mania and Demetia, the two shades of madness. Mania is colorful and eccentric and just almost overly happy. Dememtia is the compleate opposite, it's dreery and wet and run down. Compleatly bleak and dreadful. Just for your intrest if you play useing magic and arrows you should do everything for the Dementia, if you use melee pick Mania. I wont say anything else because it will just spoil it for ya's. Stay tuned for my review on Knights of the Nine lol. This one seems pretty hard so wish me luck
