Great Show Tonight!!!

We had an awesome show tonight, with guest Tim (COBRA). We discussed how Tim got involved in the Bigfoot phenomena and some of his views on things in the Bigfoot field. Pat (HAXAAR) asked excellent questions and Ray (DZ) called in to talk to Tim and shared some interesting incidences that have happened on his property in Pennsylvania. All in all, a great show!
I just wanted to let everyone know that Tim will be attending the Bigfoot Round-Up this weekend in Yakima, Washington. It will be his 100th Bigfoot conference and I am very excited to let everyone know about it! Excellent job Tim!!!!

Thanks for those that are no longer among us
My brother has picked up the quest of our family genealogy. Looking through some of our family records, papers, and photo's we found some interesting stuff. My dad was first generation radar technician for the army air corp. The only place I know he talked about was Guadalcanal. Mom's dad also served there as a seebee. Although they never met during the war, I found that rather intriguing. I don't remember much about my grandfather other than reading the sunday morning comics with him. He passed away in 1976 when I was only 4 years old.
I remember the funeral very clearly. I remember numereous staff cars pulling into the cematary include some high ranking officers in the Marines. I don't remember much else. Just the impression that he was a very well respected person. Today, we found a letter (framed) signed by Gerald R. Ford, in memory of his service to our country. Profound. I have an intense curiosity to find out more about him. I wonder what his service record would reveal. Mom said that he had met Adm. Bill Halsey a number of times and greatly respected him.

As per Lancie's request
This one is for Lancie....
The big one is Victory Hopdevil just picked up today...

Knights of the Nine Expansion pack
Alright, I beat this one rather quickly so it was easier than I expected. You talk to this guy called "The Prophet". He seems crazy at first, but you talk to him more and he'll give you the quest, which is actually the expansion pack. You have to go on this thing called "The pilgrammage"(I think I spelled it right lol) which is, by the way, the most greuling and annoying thing you will ever do.If you do this without going nuts you can now wear the crusaders armor.(Crusader is the hero of the gods). The best part is, is if you kill an innocent or guardian you lose the right to wear the armor and have to do it all over again. Woopee lmao. Well after all this searching and pilgramaging you get to do a wicked battle between you and some ancient elf thing. I wont spoil the awesome ending for you all. It's the shortest expansion for sure and is the most annoying...but it is easy. It's not as good as Oblivion and The Shivering Isles but it is a decent expansion none the less.
Gator out.

Shivering Isles Expansion
So I apparently bought the Game of the Year edition of oblivion so I have the expansions for it. I decided to try the Shivering Isles one first so heres the take on it. First off it's a lot shorter. You get a message that a door has opened, of course your supposed to check it out. You step into this ridicously twisted world, nothing is where it should be and I think there was some Resident Evil stuffed into some parts. THIS expansion is scary. You always have an ominous feeling that something is going to jump out of no where, and geuss what? There is! Lol.
Well theres a lot of really cool looking weapons and armor in Shivering Isles, even if half of them are made from human body parts. There are two different worlds in Shivering Isles, Mania and Demetia, the two shades of madness. Mania is colorful and eccentric and just almost overly happy. Dememtia is the compleate opposite, it's dreery and wet and run down. Compleatly bleak and dreadful. Just for your intrest if you play useing magic and arrows you should do everything for the Dementia, if you use melee pick Mania. I wont say anything else because it will just spoil it for ya's. Stay tuned for my review on Knights of the Nine lol. This one seems pretty hard so wish me luck

Oblivion Elder scrolls IV
So I've been playing Oblivion lately and figured I'd post about it. My friends are all into these RPG style games so I figured I try one. Picked Oblivion and now I'm hooked
It is a freakin' sweet game though. I think it's 2004 or something around there so the graphics arn't what I'd consider outstanding but they are very good. Gameplay is really, REALLY, amazing. You can either follow the main quest or just do whatever you want. Dosn't matter. You pick a race of species varying from monsters to humans or elves. Tons of different weapons and armor to choose from too. It's not scary or anything but there are some parts that are disturbing and others that will make you jump a little. You can join guilds and cults depending on what you want to do. It dosn't matter though since you can join all of them. There is just something about fighting pirates with a danger for assasin quests. Yes...it is Pirates vs Ninjas the very first quest you do lol. You can be arrested and killed by other CPU's in the game and if you kill certain characters things wont happen in the game. I've only just started and I can't wait to get farther into it.

New job....starting Monday
Well I finally got a new job ! ! ! I am starting for Nucor-Vulcraft in 2 days. I am soooo excited.
Wow, I am leaving Norfolk Iron & Metal. This is where I have worked for that past 7 1/2 years....I mean all my tenure and benefits from NIM are now gone as of yesterday.... It is still kinda hard to get my head around that yet. The thing that is most weird is that I had just received the promotion to 3rd shift Supervisor the 1st of October. That is the job that I had been wanting for the last couple of years and it finally came open. And I got it and then decide to give it up.. hahaha
That is just how stuff always works out for me it seems. But it is for the better and it was my decision to leave, and to do so on great terms. I have been told by the V.P. that the door at NIM will always be open for me in the future, but honestly I hope that I never get to the point that I need to open that door again. Don't get me wrong I had some good times at NIM... but my memory of all the days camping & boating on vacation or whatever and being sooo tired during the day has put it's toll on me and my family. I have done over 7 years of night shift, and I am pretty damn happy to know that the long nights and my days being soooo tired from no sleep in 27 hours are gone. It has been a great job and pretty damn profitable... I worked my way up from the bottom at NIM to become just about the highest paid non-salary employee. But i worked for it as my family can attest.
